This building is at least a hundred or two hundred years old. It is made from oversized bricks. (Some extra bricks can be seen in the photo.) The bricks are made of rammed earth. The earth poured into the mold and rammed until the brick is solid and formed. If the soil haas insufficient binding power it is mixed with wood-oil or with strawpaper soaked in water. The strawpaper is made for this purpose. It has more binding power than straw alone because it is a mixed with lime when making this paper.
